RICHMOND, MICHIGAN. Effective immediately, the City of Richmond has discontinued
odd/even watering restrictions within the community and residents and businesses
may now resume normal water use. The city cites favorable weather conditions and
a return to normal daily water demand as the main considerations for the
discontinuance. The city asks that residents and businesses continue to be
conscientious in their water use and to conserve water whenever possible. The
Richmond City Council and staff express their sincere appreciation for the
patience and understanding shown by residents and businesses during this
unusually dry summer and for their kind cooperation in complying with watering
restrictions.
