RICHMOND, MICHIGAN. The City of Richmond has lifted the City's outdoor watering ban and is now implementing odd/even watering restrictions until further  notice. All properties within the city and outside the city which use the City of Richmond public water supply for outdoor water use are now permitted to use water outdoors on an odd/even basis. Those properties with address numbers which end in an odd number are permitted to water outdoors on odd numbered calendar dates between the hours of 8:00 PM and 12:00 Midnight only. Properties with address numbers which end with an even number are permitted to water outdoors on even numbered calendar dates between the hours of 8:00 PM and 12:00 Midnight only. The Richmond Police Department will be patrolling all areas of the city and will ticket those violating the watering restrictions. The Department of Public Works may also shut off water service to violating properties. The City of Richmond appreciates the kind and patient cooperation of its water customers.
