Meals-On-Wheels
The MCCSA Meals-On-Wheels program ensures that seniors receive a nutritious meal and are able to stay in their own homes, preventing or delaying premature nursing home placement. The program is always in need of more drivers to deliver meals.

If you would like to contribute your time, please call MCCSA’s Senior Citizen Nutrition Program at (586) 469-5228.

Volunteer duties and requirements are:
Deliver meals 1 or 2 times per month.
It takes only 1 to 1 1/2 hours to deliver the meals.
Routes are driven Monday through Friday at lunchtime.
Routes can be located in an area close to the volunteers home or work
Volunteers must have their own vehicle and have a
valid driver's license and carry automobile insurance.
Mileage reimbursement is offered.
