RICHMOND CHRYSLER/DODGE/KIA SUPPORTS LOCAL K-MART

RICHMOND, MICHIGAN, March 14, 2002 --Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) last week announced that it intends to close 284 under-performing stores as part of its initial Chapter 11 financial objectives review. Fortunately the Richmond, MI Kmart was not among those being closed. As a gesture of support to the Kmart Corporation, and the community in general, Richmond Chrysler/Dodge/Kia has arranged to purchase many of its consumable products such as office and cleaning supplies from the Richmond Kmart. Richard Huvaere, President of Richmond Chrysler/Dodge/Kia announced, “The Richmond Kmart is more than just another store to us, it’s a huge part of the community. We intend to support them as much as we can, and I encourage other Richmond Auto Dealers, Businesses and Government Officials to follow suit.”
