KIWANIS CLUB OF RICHMOND
MINUTES
December 4th, 2003

The Kiwanis Club of Richmond met at Richmond Police Post. The meeting was called to order by Lisa Nolff at 12:06. We shared the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Sharon Hiller shared an opening prayer. We started with our meal provided by Richmond Community Schools.

Members present were: John Hiller, Jason Verlinde, Sharon Hiller, Lisa Nolff, Patrick Bird, Rebecca Jagoda, and fashionably late Jason Rewalt. Our guest was Baby Reagan Rewalt.

Jason brought up the fact that we should think of some new fundraisers since our usual fundraisers seem to be losing their appeal.

Shane has resigned from our club based on time constraints. He will be missed. If his schedule slows in the future, he has promised to be back.

K-Kids:
The K-Kids went on a caroling field trip to three of the old folks home around town. They had 26 kids participate and five parents went along as drivers/chaperones.

The K-Kids will be having their Christmas party on 12/17/03 at 3:35pm at the Lee School. If you are available Sharon would like to see some of us attend.

The K-Kids are holding a fundraiser selling cookies at the schools Christmas programs on December 8th, 9th, 10th. They could use our help by donating cookies for them to sell. Please package them in packages of six and deliver to Sharon’s office in the “Aud” building on any of the above mentioned dates.

Division 3, Council Meeting
We received the minutes from the Division 3, Council Meeting held 11/24/03. They are planning a division wide fundraiser to benefit the Macomb Literacy Partners. Details to follow.

The meeting adjourned at 12:39.M.

Respectfully submitted,
Jason Verlinde
