APPLE PIE SALE We will be making 216 pies on November 9 in the Richmond Middle School cafeteria starting at 8:30 A.M. The K-Kids will be joining us at 9:00 A.M. Pick up times are from 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. which means we will need to hustle. Please help us that day and bring along a friend or family member or two to assist.
How are your sales coming? Let’s see if we can each get five more pies sold. Lisa only has room for about 50 in her freezer. Does anyone else have space to freeze pies?

BOARD MEETING will be held on November 7 following our regular meeting.

MEDILODGE BINGO Our club will be holding a bingo for the people at Medilodge on Saturday, November 16 at 1:30. We have some prizes and could use about 30 more items. You could bring anything that you think someone would enjoy. Sometimes the residents like to get things to use as gifts for others. At the end of the bingo, we will provide cookies and juice. Some of the cookies will have to be sugar free. We could use help with bringing in prizes, calling the bingo, assisting people during bingo, handing out prizes, and serving the snack. Please let us know if you can commit to helping that day from 1:30-3:00 P.M. or if you are unavailable. This is a new project. It would be nice to show our support the residents at Medilodge.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS We have about 40 left. If you have sold books, please get the money to Jason soon.

K-KIDS will be joining us to make pies. The next student meeting is Wednesday, November 6th from 3:45-4:15 P.M. They will meet on the first and third Wednesdays in the library at Will L. Lee Elementary School. Second, third, and fourth graders are welcome to attend.

SARNIA KIWANIS 75th ANNIVERSARY Bev has information if you think you’d like to attend.

UTICA KIWANIS AUCTION will be held on Friday, November 22 at Fern Hill. Let Bev know if you are interested in going. She has been to it before.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. -Proverbs 31:8-9
