HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL Kelley could use help with the kids’ party on October 29 from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Please come if you can.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JASON AND JENNIFER VERLINDE as they adopt their son, Noah!

ED KENT’S MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, October 30 at noon at Maniaci’s on Main Street. Please be there to support Ann. We are thankful for all the support Ed has given our club, especially setting us up with the sale of Selfridge Air Show Flyers. His support through all our Winter Fest activities and Children’s Art Show was great.

APPLE PIE SALE We will be making 200 pies on November 9 in the Richmond Middle School cafeteria starting at 8:30 A.M. It’s coming up fast. We have very few pies sold so far, so let’s see what we can do. Lisa only has room for about 50 in her freezer. Does anyone else have space to freeze pies?

MEDILODGE BINGO Our club will be holding a bingo for the people at Medilodge on Saturday, November 16 at 1:30. Please bring some items for prizes. Ideas for prizes include yarn, lotion, body poweder, aftershave, knee high socks or nylons, jewelry, perfume, nail polish, stationery, pens, stamps, shower caps, night caps, kleenex, brush, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand cream, deodorant, handkerchiefs, men’s white socks, sports items, stuffed animals, easy to chew fresh fruit, sugarless candy. You could bring anything that you think someone would enjoy. Sometimes the residents like to get things to use as gifts for others. At the end of the bingo, we will provide cookies and juice. Some of the cookies will have to be sugar free. We could use help with bringing in prizes, calling the bingo, assisting people during bingo, handing out prizes, and serving the snack. Hope that you can take time to help.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS Keep selling those books! We have a great of books still out. Let’s make it to our goal!

K-KIDS The next student meeting is Wednesday, November 4th from 3:45-4:15 P.M. They will meet on the first and third Wednesdays in the library at Will L. Lee Elementary School. Second, third, and fourth graders are welcome to attend.
