SERVICE This week a radio program shared that what really makes people generous is to learn how good it feels to fill a need. Perhaps we need to take a serious look at sponsoring a club for children and teens.

KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL is a coeducational service organization for high school students, organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club. It is self-governing and elects its own officers, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structure.

BUILDERS CLUB is a coeducational service club for grades 6-9. It has four objectives:
? To provide opportunities for working together in service to school and community
? To develop leadership potential
? To foster development of a strong moral character
? To encourage loyalty to school community, and nation.

K-KIDS CLUB provides children in elementary school with an opportunity to give service to their community, to develop pride in their ability to contribute, learn about the operation of a volunteer organization, and develop leadership skills. It can be designed to fit the needs and systems of any elementary school. It can involve 1-5 grade students or be limited to the upper grades in the school. Members of the sponsoring Kiwanis club work closely with teacher advisors and parents to help organize the student leaders and support the club?s activities.
