Richmond Historical Society Workshop

The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society will be having Shawn Gavin from The Alford Group come and speak for a fundraiser workshop called the Five Tips for Raising Big Dollars at Ken's Country Kitchen (69232 Main St., Richmond) at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2003.

Shawn Gavin is a consultant for The Alford Group.  He specialized in development planning and annual fund counsel.  Shawn's portfolio includes work in technical assistance, strategic planning, numerous feasibility studies, organizational assessments, capital campaigns, grant-writing initiatives, annual fund programs, and client-directed research projects.

The cost of the workshop is free but do come and have breakfast (at your own expense) while you listen to the talk.  The seminar is open to the public.
