Dear Friend,
Samantha Lynch is a 12 year old 6th grader at Lanse Cruese Middle School in Harrison Township. In the Fall of 2001, it was discovered that she had developed severe scoliosis of the spine. Left untreated, this is a life threatening condition. In July 2002, Samantha will undergo a surgical procedure to correct this condition. She will be totally immobilized in a body cost for one month, and will require a recovery period of several months. During this time, she will need 24-hour medical attention. Between the wages lost at work to attend to Samantha, and the unpaid medical bills, this family is going to suffer a tremendous financial burden. To help offset these costs, we are hosting a fund raising golf outing at Bello Woods Golf Course on June 29, 2002. We are asking for assistance from local businesses to help achieve our goal. Any assistance that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

This benefit is being put together to help defray and offset some of the medical and recovery expenses that are going to be incurred this summer by the Lynch family.
