all night. Height restrictions enforced on some rides.
6 p.m. FESTIVAL BEVERAGE TENT OPENS, Beebe Street Park.
6-9 p.m. ART SHOW AND SALE held in the Richmond Auditorium on Main
Street. No cost.
6:30 p.m. MOTOCROSS. Cost Adults $6, Children 12 and under $4. Held by
the demolition derby pit, Beebe Street Park.
6:30 p.m. CLASSIC CAR PARADE & CRUISE. Parade line up at the Fire
Department parking lot on North Main Street. Cruise
immediately following headed North up M-19. No cost
7-10 p.m. KARAOKE held in the Festival Beverage Tent. Open Microphone.
7 p.m. OPENING CEREMONIES, held on the Festival Stage.
7:15 p.m. LITTLE MISS RICHMOND CONTEST, held on the Festival Stage.
Friday Sept. 5
9:00a.m. to dusk HISTORICAL BUILDINGS OPEN. Old Schoolhouse, Log Cabin,
and Train Depot open for tours. No Cost.
Noon to 7 p.m. ART SHOW and SALE. Held in the Richmond Auditorium on Main
Street.
Noon to dusk MERCHANT and VENDOR SALES, Washington and Beebe streets.
Noon to dusk STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SOCIAL. Cost $3 Beebe Street .
3-11 p.m. MIDWAY CARNIVAL OPENS. Height restrictions on some rides.
4 p.m. FESTIVAL BEVERAGE TENT OPENS
6 P.M. Festival stage. Vocalist Ashley Margosian. no cost.
6:30 p.m. FABULOUS OUTHOUSE RACES. Held on Main Street. Race begins at
Monroe Street.
7 p.m. NIGHT TIME FIGURE "8" DEMO DERBY held at Beebe Street Park. Cost
$6 adults $4 Children 12 and under.
7 p.m. to 12 a.m. DANCE IN THE BEVERAGE TENT to Detroit based foursome,
Opie's Dream.
7 p.m. FESTIVAL STAGE. Harbor Lights Choir from the Salvation Army. No
cost.
8 p.m. COMMUNITY THEATRE PRESENTATION of "Grease." Cost $15 Adults and
$13 Students or Seniors (Parker & Churchill).
8:30-10 p.m. FESTIVAL STAGE. Seven Mile Sun, two-piece
rock/pop/alternative band. No cost.
Saturday, Sept. 6
8 a.m. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS held at the Community School Fields off of
Division Road.
9 a.m. to dusk HISTORICAL BUILDINGS OPEN. Tour the historical park
buildings. No cost.
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CRAFTS SHOW, held in Bailey Park. No Cost.
10 a.m. to dusk MERCHANT and VENDOR STREET SALES, Washington and Beebe
streets.
10 a.m. HORSE SHOE TOURNAMENTS - SINGLES. Register 9-9:45 a.m. in the
Festival, Beverage Tent. Cost $5 per participant. New location this year - at
horseshoe pits by the pavilion.
11 a.m. CHILDREN'S MAIN STREET PARADE. Line up on Beech Street next to J.
Alan Furniture,
parade down to Park Street. Immediately following parade PING PONG BLOWOUT for
kids 12 and under only. Main Street. Prizes redeemable at either the Festival
Barn or local area businesses.
Noon to 3 p.m. AAA MICHIGAN CHILD IDENTIFICATION. Held in the pavilion
area.- No cost.
Noon to 7 p.m. ART SHOW AND SALE. Kids can make their own piece of "Thumb
Print" art for $3. Held in the Richmond Auditorium on Main Street.
