BOWL-A-THON
A bowl-a-thon to benefit the hospitalized children of Michigan is being sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Richmond on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at Striker’s located at 30971 Armada Ridge Road in Richmond. The cost for three games and shoes is $15.00 per person. There will be door prizes, a 50-50 raffle, a mystery game, and cosmic bowling during the last game.
The proceeds of the bowl-a-thon will be given to Kiwanis of Michigan Foundation to provide activities to hospitalized children. Special projects include arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, outdoor fun, music, games, art, help with homework, computers, books, and support for families. Children’s hospitals supported through this foundation incorporate C.S. Mott Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mary Free Bed Hospital in Grand Rapids, Northern Michigan Hospitals in Petoskey, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.
